Every site update, newest first. They are also announced in the Discord #changelog channel.
War map: losses, VP and ruins
On each hex, deaths per hour come first, Wardens on the left and Colonials on the right.
Victory towns carry the same flag as on the bot, and the side frames take less room.
Buildings in ruins show in grey and are no longer logged as “built”.
Vote DogzCoins arrive by themselves
Vote for Dog’z on Top Serveurs: your coins arrive one or two minutes later, with nothing to click.
Vote from the site bar
The “Vote” button is at the top right, next to your name.
Voting for Dog’z, easier to find
A “Vote” button on the home page, next to “Join the Discord” and “Events”, with the DogzCoins a vote earns.
When signed in, a reminder at the top of the pages tells you when your Top Serveurs vote is possible again; the cross hides it for two hours.
The “Vote on Top Serveurs” button opens the vote page with your vote name already filled in: no need to copy it any more.
The Foxhole war line under the home title is gone: it stays on the Foxhole card.
Vote for Dog’z and earn DogzCoins
New Vote page (link at the bottom of every page): vote for Dog’z on Top Serveurs, then collect your DogzCoins in one click.
Each member gets a vote name to enter on Top Serveurs. The site checks the vote with this name, without looking at your IP address.
Each vote is rewarded only once, with a daily number of rewarded votes; the coins arrive through the Callahan Dog’z bot.
Animated flags and touch-ups to the war map
The leading faction’s flag now waves as a video behind the map, without the line that crossed the background.
The casualties under each hex are bigger and more coloured, readable even fully zoomed out; no more grey dot for quiet hexes.
In the legend, the “Legend” button hides every frame and stays in place; faction colours go through “Everything”, “Structures only” and “Nothing”.
Structure legend categories now turn white when hidden, and the Coal Field comes last among resources.
In the log, a lost structure shows a neutral icon, and the archives of past wars are back at the bottom of the page.
The war map is set from its legend
All settings are in the legend at the top right: a click shows or hides, hovering makes it blink. Each faction’s colour, colour opacity, names, decay and no-build zones, borders, invasion, rockets, casualties, and “Frames” to hide the frames.
“Structures ›” opens the structure legend: each category is shown or hidden with a click.
Tactical drawings make straight arrows and lines by default, or smooth curves if you choose; a selected line stretches and bends when you hold the click on its path. Crossing zones (an 8, a circle inside a circle) become separate zones.
Under each hex, each faction’s casualties and their hourly rate, with a livelier dot.
The background flags wave slowly and disappear when the territory is tied; the log shows the real structure icons; a click on an event centres the map without going back in time.
Charts now come before casualties, full width, with a new chart of players in game. A short tutorial greets the first visit, and ↺ resets the map as it was on arrival.
War achievements and victory points true to the game
Rebellion and Turning Point now count the real liberated towns: a town held by the faction at the start of the war that comes back to it, only once. The Wardens go from 95 % to the in-game value.
All war achievements are now worked out by the site, from the start of the war, with the game’s own rules.
A victory town counts as soon as the game claims it (Provisional Garrison unlocked), within seconds, instead of after a fixed delay.
On the map, a captured victory town waiting for its garrison is faded, with an estimate of when it activates; the number of waiting towns shows next to the score.
The log with icons, also in a hex’s card
Each change in the log shows the icon of its building: filled with the faction colour when built or captured, hatched while under construction, grey when lost or neutral.
A hex’s card shows its log like the one on the page, and a click on a change replays it there too.
The size and opacity of the ruler and the rangefinder are set in each tool’s bar, once you pick it.
Under the time bar, “Players on the page” becomes “Visitors on the page”.
Recent captures in dark again
A freshly captured region shows dark again and lightens over time, with a bright outline that fades within an hour.
Victory points count from the start of the war
At the start of a war, the victory point bar stayed at zero for 40 minutes: towns held from the start now count straight away.
War map: changes log, one-click replay, layers open to everyone
The detected changes log replaces the town log: structures built, destroyed or upgraded, and every rocket step, with no false destruction when a structure is replaced.
A click on a log event centres the map on the place and replays the war from 10 minutes before; the “LIVE” button and its red light bring you back to live.
Under the time bar: the number of Foxhole players on Steam and the number of people on the page.
A double click picks a hex and centres the map on it, with its casualty charts and its log; during the resistance the whole map stays visible, unavailable hexes in grey.
More precision for drawing: two more zoom levels, smaller symbols, zones drawn point by point or freehand, and a drawing’s colour, shape or size can be changed without redrawing it.
Without an account you can save public layers, signed with an animal name; logged in, you also keep private layers. Each layer is deleted after 1 to 7 days without changes, with a countdown next to its name.
Each drawing tells who made it and who changed it last; the icon legend makes structures blink, and the no-build and decay zones are hatched.
A new page footer, and a better protected site
The bottom of every page credits the people who make the site, and links to the privacy policy and the legal notice once they are published.
A privacy policy explains what the site keeps about you, for how long, and how to see it or have it deleted.
The site now blocks access to the camera, the microphone and your location, and says where to report a security flaw.
The site counts its visits, without cookies
The site now counts its own visits so the team knows which pages are read: no cookie, no outside tool and your IP address is never stored.
Nothing follows you from one day to the next, and visits are deleted after 90 days.
War map: settings, search and casualty table fixed
The boxes and buttons of the ⚙ Settings menu work again: showing or hiding frames, structures, resources, names and decay really changes the map.
The place search accepts spaces (and digits or dashes) without moving the map.
The casualty table spans the whole page width, and its “Ratio” columns give each side’s K/D: enemy casualties for each of its own.
Layers and tactical drawing redesigned
When the map loads, all layers are hidden: add the ones you want to see; a layer shared by link opens on its own.
The ruler and rangefinder belong to their layer: hiding (👁), leaving or removing a layer also hides its measurements.
A single 🗑 button clears the whole map; your draft is still kept in your browser.
Saving under the name of one of your layers replaces it; a private layer received by link offers to make a personal copy.
The drawing bar only shows what the chosen tool needs, and symbols are sorted into Land, Air and Sea, with infantry, tanks, small and large boats, and reconnaissance, fighter, transport and bomber planes.
Every arrow, line, symbol and text has its own opacity (80% by default) and size: click a drawing to adjust them.
War map: settings, search, ranges and decay
A ⚙ Settings button groups the frames, faction colours and map opacity (100% by default), with boxes to show or hide key structures, other structures, resources, region names and minor place names.
Every structure shows its real name on hover, Safe Houses finally have their official icon, and salvage, components, sulfur, coal and oil fields and mines each have their own colour.
A 🔍 search finds a place or a hex and zooms in on it.
Clicking a Town Hall, Relic Base, Keep, Safe House, Observation Tower or Coastal Gun shows its real range, in the colour of the side holding it.
Rapid Decay zones (150 m along borders) can be shown from the settings.
Hexes no longer light up when the mouse goes over them.
War page: everything live, one casualty table, a clearer town log
Charts, map frames and countdowns follow the live data without reloading the page.
A single casualty table: rank and change over six hours, enlistments, each side’s casualties and share, total; click a header to sort, your sort is kept.
The town log no longer repeats a building site destroyed and restarted at the same place, and building sites are hatched in their side’s colours.
A capture less than an hour old stands out on the map and in the log, less and less until it fades away.
War map: the resistance phase has its own page
When a war ends, the map switches to the “Resistance Phase” by itself: only the hexes still in play are shown, and days are counted from the start of the resistance.
Casualties, the town log and the charts of the resistance start from zero, without mixing with those of the war.
The full record of the finished war can still be viewed, from “Other wars” at the bottom of the page.
The map stays live throughout the resistance, and the Foxhole page and the home page show “Resistance Phase”.
War map: tactical tools grouped together and several layers at once
A single “Tactical tools” button opens the ruler, the rangefinder and tactical drawing; layer management sits at the bottom of that menu.
Several layers are shown together on the map: add them from the list, pick the one you edit with ✏, remove them with ✕, or all at once with the new ⊘ button.
Three army types for arrows, lines and areas: Land (solid line), Air (dotted with a shadow, as if flying) and Sea (double line).
New marker pictos: outpost, defence (pillbox), land mines, sea mines, artillery and anti-air.
Right-click a drawing: it is removed and the tool stays selected; right-click empty space: the tool is put away.
You can no longer draw or place a measurement outside the map, and the buttons have clearer labels.
An ideas box for the site and the community
New “Ideas” page, in the top bar and the footer: suggest an idea to improve the site or the community.
Support other members’ ideas in one click: the most supported come first.
The team shows where each idea stands (under review, planned, done or declined) and can answer it.
Filter ideas by status or topic, or sort them by date.
Profiles get a fresh look
At the top of the profile: avatar, nickname, rank and the “Sign the guestbook” and “Give respect” buttons, then a sentence and your games.
Sections lead straight to the introduction, contributions, gallery, awards and guestbook.
On a computer, the essentials in the middle and a column for short facts: games, links, medals, DogzCoins, activity.
New “Featured” block: your latest guide, or the guide or image you choose (“My profile” → Showcases).
Two new showcases: “Picked from the gallery” (the first three images of your gallery) and “My guides”.
The medal showcase shows the badges large, with their description.
A new member is welcomed with three first steps rather than counters at zero.
Your profile keeps what you write and hides what you hide
« My profile » and your « me » page show unsaved changes, and ask before you leave the page without keeping them.
A hidden block disappears everywhere: your hidden introduction no longer shows in Discord link previews, your hidden games are no longer in your mini-profile, and your hidden « me » page no longer has an address.
In « Layout », each setting says which block it is about for screen readers.
More reliable profiles
If you chose not to appear in search engines, your « me » page now follows the same choice as your profile.
An achievement you just earned can be pinned right away in « My profile », without visiting your public profile first.
A showcase unlocked by your level shows from the very next visit.
Guestbook: removing your message no longer lets you write a new one before 24 hours.
The site is now in English too
The FR / EN button in the bar shows the same page in English: home, live war, profiles, shop, member area and panel.
Your English-speaking friends can follow the war and our events on dogz.dog/en.
Guides, news and messages written by members stay in their language: a note says so on English pages.
Complete layers, private or public
A saved layer keeps everything: drawings, ruler and rangefinder measurements, map view, colours, frames shown and the moment of the war.
New Aa tool: type your text in the bar and click on the map to place it, in the chosen colour.
A layer’s link shows a preview of the drawn area, on Discord and anywhere else.
🔒 Private: only you can edit it, others view it through its link.
🌐 Public: it shows up for everyone in “Open a layer”, and any signed-in member can edit it.
The banner of an open layer says whose it is and who last changed it.
New ▣ button: set the map’s opacity so the flag no longer shows through.
Tactical layers to keep and share
The tactical layer has eight colours, plus one of your choice (🎨): the last two are remembered.
Hold left-click on a drawing to move it as a whole.
When signed in, name your layer and save it on the site: you will find it in “My layers”.
🔗 copies its link: anyone who opens it sees your drawings on the map, even without an account.
📣 sends it to the Discord layers channel, with your name and the link.
A map legend that shows
Hover over a legend line: what it stands for flashes on the map (a side’s territory, invasion bonus, rockets, deadliest hexes).
The three deadliest hexes get real medals, with their name in the legend.
Hover over “Real day”: the exact date and time the war began, and how long it has lasted.
Zoom in on the map and hover over a structure: the side holding it and for how long.
The Warden and Colonial flags fly in the map background: the more territory a side holds, the more its flag dominates.
The casualties frame takes less room, frames are centred on the map and finished feats keep their white outline.
The war map fills the screen
When you open the war map, it fills the screen: PC, tablet or phone.
Victory points are two lines at the top of the map: blue for the Wardens on the left, green for the Colonials on the right, the middle is the number to reach.
“LIVE” and the map time are at the bottom right of the map.
As you scroll, the rest of the page slides over the map: the timeline, the town log, then casualties.
The hex table is sorted from deadliest to least deadly, in the sides’ colours, with a total.
Two charts side by side: casualties and casualties per hour, with real scales and figures on hover.
Pick your nickname on the site
A “Nickname” card at the top of “My profile”: you choose the name shown on the site.
It stays when you sign in again with Discord; “Use my Discord nickname” gives you back your Discord one.
Your profile address does not change: links already shared still work.
2 to 32 characters, unique, one change every 30 days.
Your Discord avatar up to date in one click
“My profile” → “Update my Discord avatar” copies your current avatar.
“Hide my DogzCoins balance” also hides it from you in the shop (unfold it if you want to see it).
The gallery shows an image right after it is uploaded.
